"Saving Face"/Asian

Most commonly found in Asian countries/cultures, "saving face" is an ancient honor/shame ethos where gaining collective/public honor (for yourself and for your group/family/tribe) was virtually everyone's obsession. For our purposes at the Honor/Shame Bible, this particular honor/shame will be our main focus, because it is most resembles the cultural background of the grand h story of the Bible. In fact, it was the social currency of the ancient world.
